The new Amex 1850 Lounge at the Aria Las Vegas just opened last week and luckily I’m already in town for F1 so you know I had to go check it out. How can you not when there’s free food and drinks to be had, right? Last year, Chase Sapphire also hosted a pop-up lounge around the same time so it was fun to see the comparison between the two lounges and what they offer. Let’s get to it!

What Credit Cards Are Accepted?
The lounge is for Amex Platinum and Amex Centurion card holders. If you have the Amex Platinum, you can bring one guest. If you have the Centurion card, you can bring up to 3 guests.
Do You Need Reservations or Can You Walk In?
I made reservations through Resy here. There is a walk-in line but not sure how long you have to wait. When I went, everyone had a reservation already.

What Are the Official Hours and Dates of the Amex 1850 Lounge?
The lounge is open from November 13, 2025 to December 17, 2025. Hours of operation are from 2:00pm-9:00pm daily.

What Type of Food and Drinks Do They Have?
You get one complimentary drink ticket per Amex Platinum Card Member and two complimentary drink tickets per Centurion Member. You get a coin that you give to your server or bartender to redeem your drink. Since I have the Amex Platinum, I only got one coin and chose the Cosmopolitan as my drink. They also provide you with a Fiji water and a welcome splash of champagne.
For food, they give you a trio of nuts and popcorn along with a super cute charcuterie board. It’s definitely just snacks and not a full meal, but I will say that the charcuterie board was pretty substantial especially just for myself.
UPDATE (11/23/25): I went back to the lounge with a friend and this time, they gave us blinis with caviar. Definitely did not get that the first time I was there. See picture below.

Where Exactly is the Amex 1850 Lounge Located?
It’s located inside the Aria Las Vegas Hotel and Resort. It is right next to Catch restaurant and behind the lobby. For people that know the Aria very well, it use to be the old Cathédrale restaurant.
When Did I Visit the Amex 1850 Lounge?
I visited on Tuesday, November 18, 2025 at around 7:00pm and the lounge was packed.
Differences I Saw Between Chase Sapphire Pop-Up Lounge and Amex 1850 Lounge?
As mentioned above, I visited the Chase Sapphire Pop-Up Lounge last year which was also located in the same exact spot as the Amex 1850 Lounge. Below are the main differences I saw:
- Chase gave unlimited drinks while Amex limit drinks depending what card you have
- Chase did not have a reservation system and you can walk-in whenever
- For food, I feel like Chase had more substantial offerings. Still not a full meal but they at least partnered up with Momofuku. Amex is definitely more on the snack side.
- Amex definitely has the better ambiance since they took over an existing restaurant. It feels like a real lounge/restaurant.

I made a IG reel incase anyone wants to see video footage of the lounge.
