The first time I tried going to Aft Cocktail Deck was when I was on a Vegas group trip with my friends a couple of months ago. We just came out of Encore Beach Club and wanted to get one more drink before we headed back to our hotels. I remember that Aft Cocktail Deck was supposed to be open by now so I asked my friends if they wanted to check it out. There was no line when we got there, but the hostess informed us that we weren’t allowed to sit out there because of what we were wearing. Unfortunately, if you are wearing any type of swimwear, they won’t let you in.
I was really disappointed since I really wanted to check it out, but I could understand that they were trying to keep a certain dress code for the deck. So, the next time I went to Vegas, I was determined to go back to Aft Cocktail Deck again and I was so glad I did!

Aft Cocktail Deck Location
Aft Cocktail Deck is located inside the Wynn Hotel and is located at the bottom of the curved escalators by Parasol Down Bar and SW Steakhouse. The deck used to be a part of the Parasol Down Bar, but it looks like they have now separated the interior bar and outside area into two different bars.

Dress Code
As per my experience above, you are not allowed to wear tank tops or swimwear.

What Time Should You Go?
The first time we went (where we got rejected because of our clothing) was a Saturday afternoon probably around 5-6:00 pm. The second time I went where these pictures were taken was on a Monday when they first opened at noon. I’ll say you can go anytime really. There wasn’t a wait both times that I went. If you hate the heat, I would definitely go in the evening. When we went at noon, it was really hot and you couldn’t stay out there too long without starting to break a sweat. If I were to go back, I would go during sunset, since I can imagine the ambiance being really nice during that time of day.
What Did We Order?
We ordered the Monaco (left) and the Cozumel (right). If you’ve been reading this blog for a while now, you probably know that I particularly don’t like cocktails, let alone sweet drinks. Well, I’m happy to report that both drinks were really refreshing and not too sweet. If you don’t know what to get, I would definitely recommend these two! It will most certainly fulfill your summertime cocktail cravings.

How Much Did It Cost?
As you can expect, cocktails are not cheap here but I would say the presentation and the ambiance definitely make up for it. The Monaco was $22 and the Cozumel was $23. You can find the complete cocktail menu here.
Overall Review of Aft Cocktail Deck
I LOVE this place! Wynn did a great job renovating the outside was really made you feel like you were sipping cocktails on a yacht or somewhere on the French Riveria. I love that the bar is lakeside and that there’s a beautiful waterfall for you to enjoy. I know at night they have certain animations/shows so I would like the chance to come back and see that. Most of all, I really liked the cocktails! For not being a cocktail person, I can’t wait to come back to Aft Cocktail Deck.
