I am back with a new Gucci Outlet post! If you follow me on Instagram, you probably saw that I went to Coachella this past weekend. If you were following really close then you would know that I stopped by the Cabazon outlets along the way. I was on such a mission to find something at the Gucci Outlet that day because I wanted to wear it at Coachella, but I couldn’t find a single thing. Of course, it would happen like that right? Every time I can’t afford to buy anything, there are a million things I want and when I finally want to spend money, there’s nothing that I want.
I also want to apologize for the super late post! After Coachella, I literally was dead to the world. We drove back Sunday night and I got home around 5:30 a.m. So, I had maybe two hours of sleep before I had to head to work. Yes, I went to work that day! Anyways, the point is that we should be back to our regularly scheduled program. There should be a ton more outlet posts coming and a couple of new luxury brands as well!

How Much is the Discount at the Gucci Outlet?
Historically, it’s always been 50% of the retail price once it hits the outlets. I asked the sales associate again and this time he said that it was around 30%-50% off which surprised me a little. Not sure if this is a COVID thing where Gucci is trying to recoup more of their money or if the difference in the discount depends on certain items. Either way, it’s still a great deal to get actual Gucci items for almost half off!
Be aware that there are definitely some items at the outlet that have no discount at all. For example, last Nov 2021, there were all these Disney-themed items and they were full price. This time around though, all of it went on sale. Another example is this Gucci Marmont 2 Chevron Bag. It’s at the outlet but for full price! Make sure you ask the sales associate if the item is on sale or not.
What Time Did We Get to the Gucci Outlet?
Since this was a Friday, the Gucci Outlet in Cabazon, CA opens at 10:00 a.m. We left L.A. around 7:00 a.m. trying to get there around 9:00 a.m. Usually, it’ll only take about 1-1.5 hours to get there but we left a little bit earlier this time because we assumed that there was going to be Coachella traffic. In the end, there was no traffic at all. So, we ended up getting there around 8:45 a.m. We were the second group in line.
Can I Request an Appointment?
As you can tell, I go to the Gucci Outlet quite often. So, I always try to book an appointment either online or with a sales associate. Well, I can tell you that I haven’t been successful once. I know there’s an online form where you can request an appointment, but I’ve never gotten a confirmation. I’ve tried to book an appointment with a sales associate directly and they just ghost me. Unless you are spending thousands (and I mean thousands) of dollars, I don’t think you’re going to get any love. Your best bet is just to go early and stand in line.

Any tips for getting through (via phone) to an actual outlet? I’ve tried calling two (multiple times) and get no answer… Just trying to find out if Medium Magenta Soho Chain Tote (silver hardware) is still avail and price! 🙂

Hi Cathy! I unfortunately have no tips on how to reach the outlet. I don’t even think their phone works. I even have a hard time reaching my own sales associate. With that being said, I have seen the Soho Chain Tote in red, but not in magenta.
