In this blog post, I’m going to be presenting you with the 2022 Goyard Price List for South Korea! I know we are already in 2023, but I thought this will still be useful for you to get an idea of how much Goyards are costing if you are planning on visiting South Korea any time soon. Also, so sorry for not posting as often! I’ve been traveling a lot for work since the new year started and haven’t had time to even take a break. Hopefully, after this week, I can get into the groove again!

South Korea Goyard Price List Bag Comparison
This South Korea Goyard Price List will be concentrating on the three main tote bags: St. Louis, Artois, and Anjou. This is just to give you an idea of what prices were in South Korea went I visited back in early November 2022. I do not have prices for any other bags or accessories, unfortunately.
Where Did I Get The Prices?
I personally visited a Goyard store in Seoul on November 4, 2022, so the prices are current as of that date. The U.S. prices are from a visit to my local Beverly Hills boutique on October 18, 2022.
Goyard Regular Colors vs. Special Colors
If you haven’t heard, Goyard has officially gotten rid of their separate pricing between their regular colors and their special colors. Historically, Goyard had different pricing for their regular colors (black and tan/black) and their special colors (red, orange, yellow, green, sky blue, navy, burgundy, white, and gray). The regular colors would usually be a couple of hundred dollars cheaper, but now for 2022, all the colors are over the special color pricing of last year. So, in other words, if you are buying regular colors this year, you will incur the biggest price jump.
Exchange Rate
I’m going to use the exchange rate of $1 USD=1,240 Won which is the rate that xe.com gave me for today. Back in November 2022, the exchange rate was much more favorable for U.S. tourists since it was at a rate of $1 USD=1,424 Won. So, in the last couple of months, the South Korean Won has gotten stronger by 14.8%.

The VAT refund in South Korea is 7%. For reference, Japan is 10% and France is 12%.

So, Is it Cheaper to Buy Goyard in South Korea?
Yes, even though the South Korean Won is stronger now than it was back in November, it’s still cheaper to buy a Goyard bag in South Korea than in the U.S. Although, the savings are not as good as in Japan or France, it’s still a cost saving overall. Also, remember that I did not calculate the VAT refund in the total savings above so you’ll actually be getting an additional 7% back. Also, depending on what U.S. state you live in, you won’t have to pay your usual sales tax either.
Conclusion
If you are planning a trip to South Korea and aren’t planning on going to Japan or Europe anytime soon, I would definitely consider buying your Goyard there. It’s still cheaper overall compared to the U.S. and probably the best part is that I didn’t even have to wait in line. I signed my name at the front and they assigned me to a sales associate right away! The last time I was in Paris, I had to wait over an hour just to get into the store. Just little things to think about!
