Today, I present to you an updated Gucci Hawaii Pricing Guide from my most recent trip to Waikiki back in January. Unfortunately, it was raining that day so the lighting in the pictures might seem a little dull but I got to try on a lot of items for all of you. If you’ve read my previous Gucci Hawaii Shopping Guide, you would know that last summer, Gucci decided to change their discount from 20% to only now 10%. While this is a huge bummer, it’s still a great deal if you can buy your Gucci items in Hawaii.

Is it Cheaper to Buy Gucci in Hawaii?

Yes, it is cheaper to buy Gucci in Hawaii than it is in the Mainland U.S. Even though the deal isn’t as good as it once was (used to be 20% off and now it’s only 10% off), it’s still worth it to buy your Gucci items in Hawaii if you are already planning a trip there. This is NOT an outlet store. Luxury brands just happen to be priced differently than the Mainland U.S. The crazy part is that most people don’t know this!

 

What is the Sales Tax in Hawaii?

It slightly differs between islands, but the current sales tax in Honolulu is 4.5%.

 

Does Gucci Waikiki Ship to Other States?

Yes, the Gucci Waikiki store does ship to other states but you will NOT get the Gucci Hawaii price. They will waive the shipping fee but you will still have to pay the regular Mainland U.S. price and your local tax. So, the only benefit of having them shipped to you is if they have a bag that is currently out of stock at your store.

Free Parking

Gucci is located in the Luxury Row Building which houses other brand names like Chanel and Miu Miu. The Luxury Row Building provides complimentary valet parking with any Luxury Row retailer’s validation located at 2100 Kalakaua Ave. This is amazing since parking in Waikiki is absolutely horrible. There should be a little valet stand outside underneath a big awning. If you’ve gone into the Ritz Carlton Residences, you’ve gone too far.
