For the first time on this blog, we are going to be talking about Miu Miu Hawaii! This was my first time in the store and I was blown away by how beautiful it was inside. Miu Miu definitely took the time to curate the design of their space and it definitely shows. It’s probably the prettiest showroom I’ve seen in Hawaii!

Is it Cheaper to Buy Miu Miu in Hawaii?

Yes, it is cheaper to buy Mu Miu in Hawaii than it is in the Mainland U.S. The discount is anywhere from 5%-10% off ready-to-wear and 5% off select bags and shoes. Again, this is NOT an outlet store. Hawaii has special discounted pricing for a lot of luxury designers so it’s beneficial to do your luxury shopping in Hawaii if you are already going to be there. I am still shocked when I hear my readers tell me that they’ve been going to Hawaii for decades and never knew about this deal!

 

What is the Sales Tax in Hawaii?

It slightly differs between islands, but the current sales tax in Honolulu is 4.5%.

 

Does Miu Miu Waikiki Ship to Other States?

Yes, the Miu Miu Waikiki store does ship to other states but you will NOT get the Miu Miu Hawaii price. They will waive the shipping fee but you will still have to pay the regular Mainland U.S. price and your local tax. So, the only benefit of having them ship to you is if they have a bag that is currently out of stock at your store.

 

Miu Miu Waikiki Customer Service

Miu Miu’s customer service was amazing! They let me roam the store at my own pace and I got to really get to know Miu Miu’s style. To be honest, I’ve never been that interested in Miu Miu’s bags or shoes, but their ready-to-wear is actually very young and fun. A lot of their designs are embellished which suits me since I love anything sparkly. If you are in the Luxury Row area, definitely stop into the store and check them out. The design of the store is worth looking at alone!

 

Free Parking

Miu Miu is located in the Luxury Row Building which houses other brand names like Chanel and Gucci. The Luxury Row Building provides complimentary valet parking with any Luxury Row retailer’s validation located at 2100 Kalakaua Ave. This is amazing since parking in Waikiki is absolutely horrible. There should be a little valet stand outside underneath a big awning. If you’ve gone into the Ritz Carlton Residences, you’ve gone too far.
