If you are going to Hawaii anytime soon and want to purchase a Gucci item, you might be in a better position than you think! Last month, you could only get the special Hawaii discount on bags and wallets. Well, my lovely sales associate just told me that the Gucci in Hawaii has now included shoes and ready-to-wear in the Special Hawaii Pricing category! That means all bags, wallets, shoes, and ready-to-wear clothing will receive the coveted discount!

What is the Special Hawaii Pricing for Gucci?

If you don’t already know, buying Gucci is cheaper if you buy it in Hawaii instead of the Mainland U.S. First, the sales tax is only 4.5% in Honolulu compared to Los Angeles’ 9.5%. Second, Gucci has historically implemented Special Hawaii Pricing of 10% off on only their bags and wallets. Well, it’s an exciting time now since shoes and ready-to-wear will also be 10% off!

Price Tags at Gucci Hawaii

Since they just implemented the new pricing on their shoes and ready-to-wear as of October 1st, 2022, those items’ price tags won’t reflect the Special Hawaii Pricing yet. But don’t worry, the 10% will be taken off at the register. Regarding the bags and wallets though, they will already reflect the standard Special Hawaii Pricing on the price tags. You can see examples here. I just want to point out there is a difference once you enter the store. 

What Gucci Store Do I Usually Go To in Hawaii?

I usually go to the Gucci in Waikiki on the island of Oahu. If I remember correctly, it’s the third largest Gucci store in the world so you know they’ll have a lot of things in stock and a wide selection of items. Also, this is not an outlet store. This is your regular luxury Gucci store so they’ll have all your in-season items!
